Paula Hill recently retired from Wells Fargo Bank where she held the position of Principal Relationship Manager and Non-Profit Banking Specialist, Specialty Markets. Within Specialty Markets, Ms. Hill assisted non-profit organizations throughout the state of Arizona to achieve their mission utilizing credit and treasury management solutions catered to the needs of each individual organization. She and her team developed and implemented strategies addressing cash flow and all other financial operational objectives.
Paula’s banking career spanned three decades. In addition to her specialty in the non-profit sector, her experience includes private banking and wealth management, business banking, investments and consumer banking.
Ms. Hill was also responsible for creating awareness and sustaining effective partnerships across all sectors of the metro-Phoenix non-profit community, creating relationships with various agencies and connecting organizations for mutual benefit.
An active member of the community, in addition to her board service with Lifewell, Ms. Hill serves as the Board Chair of the YWCA of Metropolitan Phoenix and has been part of the team that represented the YWCA on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. She also serves as a board member of Experience Matters Inc, connecting local non-profit organizations with skilled retirees that assist in supporting projects to advance their organizational missions. She is a former Board member of the Arizona Burn Foundation, and chaired their 2016 annual gala, raising record-breaking funds for the organization. Over the years she has volunteered her time with several non-profit organizations including St. Mary’s Food Bank, Southwest Behavioral Health, Florence Crittendon, The 100 Club, United Phoenix Firefighters Charities, Dress for Success, West Valley Child Crisis Nursery, Deer Valley School District, Church of Joy Preschool, and others.
A native of upstate New York, Paula moved to the Phoenix area to attend Arizona State University as a journalism major and later, the University of Phoenix where she completed the Certified Financial Planning program.
She and her husband Tim, a retired Phoenix Fire Captain, are currently enjoying their empty nest after raising four children. They enjoy travel, cooking, entertaining friends and family, and community involvement.
